Rebranding the Washington Commanders

The "C" mark is in the shape of The Pentagon, and flipped the other direction so as to avoid infringing upon the actual Pentagon's logo. The 'W' enclosed within the 'Pentagon-C,' features the Washington Monument doubling as the middle stem of the letter. The enclosing shape of the ‘CW’ is a commander's military patch, within which you'll find the 2-stripes and 3-stars that are so famously displayed on the nation's capital city's official flag.

Other explorations of the brand's visual identity includes simplified marks utilizing solely the ‘WC’ lockup, with military commander’s badge-inspired wings. The uniforms also contain many a nod to the city and team, using the brand's versatility with application of various elements, throughout the most visible areas of each facet of the player's uniform.
