Do It Online was redesigned to improve user accessibility to the content, the demographic for the site encaptures all residents within Durham County meaning it had to be designed for a large demographic.

To do this I ensured that there would be multiple ways to find content, as younger users were more accustomed to using a search option, while older generations were accustomed to scrolling, and looking around the website.

Having this also improved the transparency of the services we provide, as they were often hidden inside a basic text list, which was hard on the eyes.

A decision was made to improve the login functionality on the website as well, as it often took users away from their current page to login.

The website was also designed with accessibility in mind, to allow all end users the ability to access content.

Further improvements to accessibility were also made to the Forms UI, which is outlined further in the portfolio.
