For this project I designed a poster for a nonprofit event that sells handmade products made around the world. The challenge was to generate interest for the event by showcasing the products as well as the event information. I was inspired by the textures of the fabrics the artisans create, so I wanted to feature that in my design.

I used stripes to lead the eye from left to right and into the design. The shape created in the corners was challenging to fill, especially because I wanted to incorporate a holiday item, but I found two images that I think work well.

Additionally, we needed to create an accompanying piece that would be used digitally as a follow up to the printed poster. I swapped out the image to highlight the artisan behind the fabric that inspired the design.
