'Reimagine your hometown using colour'
Brief:
This was a four week project, the outline was to use colour as a way to rebrand a city. My goal was to create a brand, whose plan was to spread awareness on air pollution within the city of Liverpool.

Liverpool is a city much more than it's football and docks. It is a city of a more personal accountability which holds a particular perspective to me, someone who has spent basically half their life here. The increasing problem with pollution seemingly almost impossible to go back on. And thus, a situation that needs to be dealt with and spoke more of in awareness to the cities people. Especially since the centre holds multiple primary schools and vulnerable people.
The colours chosen were decided upon wanting to be able to have two contrasting shades which, when screen printed, or had the applied affect of multiply added, a third 'hidden' colour would appear. I chose pink and green as my primary shades because when researching the design aspect they both worked complimentary to one another and were very distracting. Perfect for a project attempting to gain the publics attention.
