This project was first started with a memory from the past that defines a space. With choosing the range from my past, I found old advertisements for the gun company I would use. Building off of that, I came up with a topic that would blend with the imagery. For this I decided to research poaching and honed in on the poaching of elephants. I printed of the image of elephants, ripped and crumpled, added fx blood, and scanned back in with duct tape. The advertisements can be seen as a subtle background to this image. Lastly, I was asked to take a context photo for this poster. I decided for a train track to symbolize the profit/business that comes with poaching.
