CYBERPOP (Album, Marketing, Identity)

Louverture's fifth project CYBERPOP is heavily inspired by/features many different genres of music; blending hyperpop, EDM, pop, trap, hip hop, dancehall, electronic, dubstep, and house into one cohesive sound – that sound being "cyberpop."
CYBERPOP features and gives the spotlight to v-tubers, Twitch streamers, TikTokers, YouTubers, Instagram models and e-girls in a single sitting.
An ode to the internet, you know.
The album art. The illustration itself was made by @rdkshinku. I went in there and gave it a mix of blurs, chromatic aberration, noise, and bitmapping (somewhat akin to the Game Boy Camera).
Here's the concept art that lead to who you see on the album art: meet Kimani. She's an internet explorer (a-ha) and her name means "sailor" or "adventurer" in Kenyan. The art was drafted up by BIG LAX, and then I modified it a tad, adding details and choosing a color palette.
Here's an alternate take for the album art we ended up using for the tracklist.
And the album's logotype. A blend of Y2K, freehand chalk scripts, and kanji that reads "virtuality."
Every album released is an opportunity to interpret the Team Future logo in a new way.
The cover art for the first single "DIGITAL CONGLOMERATE" was done in collaboration with ZaphPSD. Louv and I didn't quite have the branding for the album down pat yet, but we knew it was going to be largely inspired by the internet and have cute colors.
The cover art for the second single "CODE BREAKER." It was done in collaboration with 34 The Lewd Artist and depicts Code Miko in unique CYBERPOP flair. Once again, we decided to frame the art in Windows windows.
The cover art for the third single "MY EXTRAVAGANT VR FANTASY." It was once again done in collaboration with ZaphPSD. Once again, we decided to frame the art in Windows windows.
The cover art for the last single "I JUST FLATLINED A GUY IN NIGHT CITY!" Admittedly, it's one of my most bizarre pieces, given what it decides to focus on (gun front and center, subject's face off to the side) but at the end of the day, taking a look at the four single covers, I like the variety shown.
The thumbnail for "MY EXTRAVAGANT VR FANTASY" has nice rush of color.
Fun fact about the thumbnail for "WHISPERS OF A GHOST": the background is just some Ghost of Tsushima screenshot.
The thumbnail for "NEKOMIMI HAREM" showcases cat-girls galore and all over.
A compositional challenge - the thumbnail for "FAIL STATE" has a deep roster drenched in stage lights.
Fun fact about the thumbnail for "VIRTUAL SUPERSTARS": it's one of two thumbnails that features me on it, so I took this one as an opportunity to sneak myself in front and center.
