CAPPADOX 2022

Cappadox was organized for the first time in 2015 in the inspiring geography of Cappadocia with intertwined experiences of music, contemporary art, gastronomy and outdoor.

It is believed that the name Cappadocia is originated from one of the creeks of Kızılırmak, today known as Delice Creek. Cappadox earned its name from this legacy, the unexpected nature of the water, its habits and fertility.

(Branding designs and advertising ideas of Cappadox 2022 have been prepared as a student project for the Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts/ Graphic Design Department Diploma Project for the 2020-21 academic year.)

The logo design was inspired by the primitive geometric shapes that are frequently encountered in the Cappadocia region, which is known for its unique topographical features and architectural structures.

It was aimed to emphasize the dynamic and fun feature of the festival by using colors that contrast with the natural earth colors of Cappadocia. In addition, direction signs were made more visible in the region.

Inspired by the iconic sunrise concerts of the festival, the strong colors of the sunrise were used for Cappadox.

SOUVENIRS

ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN
Cappadox, which offers the opportunity to experience different activities such as concerts, tasting good food, outdoor activities and contemporary art exhibitions, while appealing to all our senses, also provides the opportunity for different experiences between the senses. The advertising campaign was planned accordingly. All images used in the posters are created from the shapes in the logo.

Many people from different countries participate in the festival. For this reason, the posters were prepared in Turkish and English. The images on the posters also differ according to the changing dynamics in both languages.
