Bita is a cheerful character. He likes competitions and always wants to win. He lives to compete and push himself to the best. In this book, he enjoys roller skating and wants to take it to the professional level. I designed his look the way his personality can fully represent. I chose hot-warm color tones to portray his fighting spirit, big eyes for his optimistic trait, and a skating helmet to show his specialty.
Drawing Bita's parents is a challenge. I have to show a parent figure that is so supportive yet wise enough to conduct Bita's talent and ambitions. And, of course, physically resembling Bita.
The amount of posing and action for this story is more than other stories in this project series that I handled. And the best part that makes Bita is my favorite series is I can put lots of different expressions.
I learned a new technique to make the picture alive and not static.
My favorite moment of this story. So many emotions and euphoria to draw.
