When we are born we are alive and until death we live, the bit in beween is life. Life is not about the events, the occasions or special moments that pop up here and there it is all the things we experience. If we only celebrate the occasions then we miss the beauty and the pleasure of the everyday, the non monumental happenings. Everyday we travel to and from our daily activities and along the way we pass by special things happening but do we see them? Do we celebrate them?

Waiting is one of those special little happenings. Waiting is a fun and quirky portrait series taken in what is usually a dark seedy looking environment after the sun goes down. Inspired by images that celebrate the “Non Monumental” aspects of the world this is a meld of fun and good times juxtaposed within a dark but ordinary bus stop at night.
