Dangerous AI Article Illustration
This piece was created as an accompanying illustration for the TIME article "Uncontrolled AI Can Endanger People's Lives. We Must Enforce Stronger Safeguards" by Kate Crawford.
It was part of an editorial illustration project where everyone in class would interpret the article indivdually and create a graphic that they felt illustrated the message of the article the best within their abilites.
My approach started out with showing how facial expressions could be easily misinterpreted by AI. It later changed to a more literal repesentation where a user is lounging in their own home while unaware their face is being tracked and archived.
