WONG: Brand identity

WONG is a little Chinese chop-suey emporium in central Novosibirsk.
The Bridge team created naming, visual identification and company typeface for this bright and racy place. 

When creating naming the WONG was chosen on all hands. On the one hand,
it is a variation of one of the most common surnames in China, on the other - it’s a huge potential for personalization. Mascot is reflected in the logo, as well as in its abbreviated version. in its abbreviated version.

During the identity development the main emphasis was on street restaurant atmosphere and dynamic. The result is a combination of ideas from traditional references (vertical logo writing, font stylization, color palette) and street style, translated by us through imitation of pasted ads and leaflets, chaotic layout and dynamic linear illustrations.




When working with fonts, some of the inscriptions were rendered by lettering.
As a result on its basis we created a unique typeface for headings and font accents,
perfectly complementing the overall style.
