Title : "LemebelPedro"

Description :
This picture is a homage to Pedro Lemebel (based on a photo by Álvaro Hoppe), an image that reminds me of the loving fight we must still give to reconcile humanity with the sacred (a guess on the intriguing theme of a meaning of and for life). As we continue to live in a world where difference is punished and humanity is questioned
in every new and old struggle, we need to remember the Truth we received even before we were born, that of our connection to divinity; as for today's turmoil only thing I recall from the ever troubled daily news is this phrase (I'm sorry I don't know who told it and I'm just paraphrasing): "Our children will be the ones to pay the consequences
of our obedience". Lemebel to me appears as a symbol of a sort of "holy disobedience", as that of Christ himself.

3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers,
the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
4 what is man, that thou art mindful of him?
and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels,
and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

Title : Harmony

Description :  In my opinion the meaning of life is finding the harmony, the balance, being part of the Nature, and taking note, that life is short like a butterfly wing strike, the human species belongs to the Endless Galaxy through Time and Space to each other and to the Nature. The meaning of life is learning to applicate this harmony lifelong, through generations, unfortunately we are only learning yet...

Title : " A Ticket to Life"

Description : The most important thing that parents, grandparents give is life itself. Everything else they only gave as much as they could. It may be difficult, but it was my only "ticket" into life. Understanding this truth, feeling it and being able to accept this gift gives you the freedom to shape your own life and your own celebration. Those who accept the gift of life accept all of their other gifts - festive and fair future opportunities. With a grateful heart. And a grateful heart wants to give.

Titles : "On the River of my Childhood", "My Look into the Future", "Always"

Description :
The first image (‘on the river of my childhood’) represents the dimension of the “past”, or my roots. This is the reminiscence of my childhood days and the depiction of one of those beautiful places to remember.

The second one (‘my look into the future’) portrays both of my children and represents the dimension of the “future”. My children are my future and the meaning of life.

The third one (‘always’) integrates all dimensions. Like a river - it connects past, present and future. It’s simple. And it’s eternal. It’s the meaning of life.

Title : "Our Choice"

Description : We are here too learn, to love, to grow and inspire. I believe we choose to be here and should also choose to make the most of our lives and especially our relationships. Remember that you can change peoples lives simply by sharing a smile, being positive, being loving and kind.

Description :
That inspiring me to doing my art work was this thoughts by John Milton. Also that’ll am being working on my trauma. Today it is 3 years since my accident. I’m living with painful waking but I’m still here. I’m grateful for art, friends and family. I believe in joy and compassion.

When I consider how my light is spent,
Ere half my days, in this dark world and wide,
And that one Talent which is death to hide
Lodged with me useless, though my Soul more bent
To serve therewith my Maker, and present
My true account, lest he returning chide;
‘Doth God exact day-labour, light denied?’
I fondly ask …

When John Milton completed his most famous work, Paradise Lost, in the 1660s, he was completely blind, and had to dictate the rest of the poem to a series of secretaries (including his daughters). This sonnet, sometimes titled ‘On His Blindness’, is about the process of going blind and the ‘light’ fading: ‘“Doth God exact day-labour, light denied?” / I fondly ask.’

Title : Love in Rocket Park

The Keyhole and Love

With a rush and a swoop, evening
skies come alive and the string of
wings are faint green jewels.

An army of parrots shatter
silence of dusk and the
flocks land like troopers
in circles of sycamores.

My neck strains and all I
can pierce are golden
leaves, skyhigh crowns for
kings.

The blend is too much and
my lids are sealed as I lean
on the sense of sound.

The strum of their hum
Is a beacon for me.

I open my eyes—

The bend of a branch pulls
my gaze downward and the
dam has a weep hole and
pressure dissolves.

They nuzzle and fawn and
I learn from the birds, a
silverspun lesson about
love's metaphor.

Title : "Winning with my own draw "

Description : I got your project brief and one quote from the movie "Forrest Gump" jumped out  "My mom always said life was like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get" , same meaning as Mahjong, a tile-based game that was developed in the 19th century in China, "you never know which tile you're gonna get then you can win the game", my art work is showing a big win in Mahjong "Thirteen orphans" :-)
