The poster above was used to promote the TDC Show around the Lakeshore Campus of Humber College. The postcard below was mailed to local agencies and designers to promote the show within the design community in Toronto. Both the poster and the mailer were designed and conceptualized with fellow students Jesse Ingalls & Cam Hopkins.
Below are some photos from the process of making the desk into the subject of our poster, using markers, acrylic paint, spray paint, and knives. We wanted to use the desk as a symbol of the education that the TDC promotes, and represents that typography is one of the first things taught in design school, like much of your early life in school is spent sitting at a desk like this one.
