Collaboration cups
design collaboration with @Vandehalo
These beautiful porcelain cups with illustrations was born from a friendship between artists. Vandehalo, the amazing illustrator and tattoo artist is my dear friend from my vivid Valencian life and even thought I had to move to a new city, I did not leave the inspiration of these times and people behind.
I designed and produced this simple cups shape to be the perfect canvas for modern decoration. And these drawings all stole my heart.
There are 3 cups in this collection: Self Care, Astronaut Cats and Hungry Mice
And who is @vandehalo ?
Beautiful, smart, witty and wonderful female artist, illustrator, tattoo artist and swing dancer amongst other things.
She studied fine art in her home town Valencia, specialised in illustrations, and currently dedicates her talent to the Morning Glory Tattoo saloon.
I met her through our shared passion to jazz music, swing dancing and vintage clothing, been friends since 2015.
Her illustrations enchant me and inspire me, I am very proud to have her on board for this collaboration!
She combines her sensitive and thoughtful stories with a bit of humour and amazing drawing skills.
Very often her illustrations show female topics which I particularly love.
