PERSPECTIVE DRAWINGS
For this task we were first taught about perspectives - horizon line, vanishing points. And how a scene can be viewed in different perspectives, how to create perspective drawings.
There are three types of perspective drawings
1. One Point Perspective : In one point perspective there is only one vanishing point on the horizon line.
2. Two Point Perspective : In two point perspective there are two vanishing points and we have to represent them as meeting at two separate points 90 degrees apart on the horizon line.
3. Three Point Perspective : In three point perspective there can be many vanishing points and by moving the vanishing points high above or far below the horizon line we can create the effect of looking up and looking down.
COMPLEXITIES : I was not able to achieve desired perspectives in complex scenes, so I opted for easier simple drawings.
LEARNING OUTCOME : I learned how simple scenes when drawn in different perspectives can change the look and feel of art.
