The beaches of El Salvador are unsurpassed, each one has something that transports us and unique things happen on each beach, and thats why Cerveza Golden launches its Limited Edition Beaches campaign, to pay tribute to the country's beaches hand in hand with 100% Salvadoran illustrators and does it in a big way, coating its iconic 292ml bottles of Golden beer and Golden Extra.
I was assigned to work with Los Cóbanos Beach, located in the department of Sonsonate, has incredible natural wealth, with dozens of volcanic reefs in its surroundings, as well as some shipwrecks, whose marine fauna has been adopted for years, resulting in impressive ecosystems.
Based on this I decided to create an illustration that represented, through textures and a swirl of elements, the natural wealth and maritime heritage of Los Cóbanos. Placing iconic elements of the beach, such as the reefs, the shipwreck of the Sheriff Gone ship, the Humpback whale sightings and the fauna of the area. Los Cóbanos is definitely a limited edition beach.
