'me' - Alzheimer's Awareness & Branding

When my Grandmother, Betty Hamilton developed Alzheimers Disease it was the first time I had experienced the destructiveness of the disease and how distressing it can be for someone to slowly forget who they are.

It was my aim to brand Betty, to look after her and develop objects that she could carry with her that ensured she would never forget the stories and experiences that make her who she is.

Her business card : a silk handkerchief with her details on - tied in a knot so that she remembers to remember.

Accompanying this, a silk clad pocket memory book - a reminder of everything she loves and has lived is always to hand and wont be forgotten.
