Rest in pleat.
The bedside lamp design.
The goal of this project is to explore new materials and new forms for lamp design.
The concept is from the pleated fabric that I used to create the form of this bedside lamp and the name rest in pleat is related to the fabric and the position of the bedside lamp that use before you are going to rest on your bed.
The design process
I started by creating the form from my experiment 3 times until I got the final one. And the lamp has a light filter created from paper.

The product is designed for specific groups who are interested in these kinds of forms.
I have learned from this design is about finding more material to create the form and the way to create a filter for the light. And I got a new experience of doing the lamp.
In further, I would like to develop a lamp by finding new material and creating a new form for the lamp.
