Lip Up Your IDEA
Creators and artists often look for inspiration by playing music, praying, or making sure their environment is as comfortable as it can be, but one thing that is often overlooked is scent. Sometimes, your creative juices are flowing just fine, and what you need instead are scents that calm your nerves.
Artist Chen Wu collaborated with a product design studio in Shanghai to produce an experimental scented candles package
to help people spark their ideas.

Project Concept & Process
In this project Artist Chen Wu was responsible for designing the packaging and illustration. There were a total of five scents representing five types of artists. Its flavors were also named after the tool of creation, which symbolized the spirit of artists.
In terms of proportion, Chen Wu kept the artists in these images tiny compared to the objects because during the creation process, most artists are diligent and humble. We have to keep working in order to transform our inspiration into craft.
