The goal of this piece was to capture Jim Rome’s toughtalking, raucous style and let the viewer know the topics covered would be different than other sports talk shows. At the same time, it positions this one as a premium offering in line with the Showtime brand. This was an important consideration. Rome has had and continues to have other shows that could be confused with his latest one.
