THE CONCEPT
transform those negative features into a challenge -create an "urban hiking" map, featuring 3 custom routes of ascending difficulty.
we went for a walk in the area; we selected routes of interest and did a manual chartography of the routes and altitute variations.

PRINTED MATTER
The 3 routes were printed on different paper qualities and weight to match the difficulty/roughness of each route.
A map of the greater area was printed on the inside of the cover, featuring the names of the main streets.
The pocket-size booklet was bound with rubber strings, so that each map can be released and used seperately.
