The UAE Hike and Fly
Is An Adventure Competition For Selected International athletes.
Competition Day 01
Pilots will start on the bottom of Burj Al Arab Hotel, hike to the TP01 Helipad of the Hotel. Then proceed by Flying or Foot towards next TP02 at the Dubai Marina. After signing the name, they can Proceed by Flying or by Foot, back towards Burj Al Arab Hotel TP03 Finish Sign, where the Day 01 race will End.
Competition Day 02
Pilots will start 10 km under the main TakeOff point on Jebel Jais area TP01 (25º91’95.5”N 56º13’27.2”E), and Hike up towards TP02 (25º94’40.6”N 56º15’65.2”E) where they will sign they're names. After signing they’re names, pilots will proceed flying or by foot towards TP02 (25º34’14.3”N 56º09’57.9”E) (1km Cylinder) around the Antena without landing obligation. Race Day will end of Khorfakkan Beach designated area. Total distance is around 70km of Flying
Competition Day 03
Pilots will start at the Beach in Khorfakkan, and hike West, towards TP01(25º21’47.3”N 56º20’03.5”E) on top of the 900m Mountain. From there, pilots will race South, towards TP02 on top of the Port Mountain (25º20’08.7’’N 56º22’01.8’’E) From there, pilots will fly or run towards the End of the Beach where is the final TP03 of the day.
Competition Day 04
Pilots will start at the court in Al Faya and race to the Take off point TP01 (25º06’71.8” N 55º81’51.6”E) after TakeOff it will be a Race towards TP02 going North where they have to sign the board. (25º05’30.3’’N 55º49’59.4’’E) after take off, they must reach TP03 towards the North (25º06’31.4’’N 55º50’06.1’’E) 200m Cylinder and back South to TP04 (25º03’05.1’’N 55º48’37.6”E) 200m Cylinder Race will finish at the same point of the Start at the Court in Al Faya facility TP05 (25º04’08.5”N 55º48’43.4”E)
