The team behind "ZIMA BLUE" and "ICE" episodes from Netflix "Love, Death + Robots" gathered again to produce the introduction of an APEX LEGENDS : Stories from the outlands video game season 10 new character : SEER.
In colaboration with director Robert Valley who gave me the amazing chance to experiment some creative direction, animation and compositing techniques on epic shots, I had to develop some unique look for space and meteor shots, moon impact, cocoon opening or even the dramatic fall into the city.
It was also the opportunity to develop some nice mix between motion design and animation for different effects showing the main character special abilities. The video game version of his chest device and drones was tunred into a 2d animation version of it.
