This animation was ordered by the TikTok channel "Quantum Totality"(the project is on hold atm). The aim of such channel was to publish weekly 3 min animations with Sci-Fi themes heavily influenced by authors like Stanley Kubrick. And as you can notice "Ricochet" is a animation about parallel universes with a 'Kubrick' feel.
The owner of the channel provided me the script of the animation and a few references for character modeling. The goal for character modeling and general aesthetics for the animation was to make it look like Animatix / Akira. So Characters 3d modeling and characters animations was all made on VROID. It was the perfect tool since it brings the perfect platform for creating characters following such required aesthetics. Background and all other video effects was made on After effects and Adobe Premier. Audio editing and music production made on REAPER.
Although I had a script to follow, all camera takes was created by me. Music selection and production was all on my end as well. No need to mention that I did all the VFX, Animations, Video editing, Audio FX.
The animation was delivered within 5 days when I got all the resources I needed to work. Which was the script, references and voices.
I really hope the return of the 'Quantum Totality' project. Or at least I wish I get some way similar job to do since I like such Sci-fi atmosphere a lot and my main aim on my career, aside from Video Editing, is to work on similar animations
