I’m so happy to show you one of my latest illustrations. I was invited to be part of a collaborative project to encourage the planting of native trees in Brazil.
The idea was very simple: Artists from every part of Brazil where invited to illustrate native Brazilian trees into “Native Christmas Tree”
The illustrations will be printed as postcards and on each one there will be seeds of native Brazilian trees.

Meet the gang:
They are four street kids, and they look really happy helping that mysterious old man to put some Christmas decorations on that majestic tree. And there’s a lot of native animals in, it looks like they’re enjoying all this magical moment.
The tree
My tree was a “Figueira Branca”, a very beautiful tree, with its aerial roots that creates something like a cozy home, a nest for these humble gang of little kids. I wanted to create a magical moment of connection with the Christmas and with nature.
