A former senior manager at the Boston-based consulting firm Bain & Company, Torrence Boone now leads Google’s agency sales operations throughout the Americas. Before joining Google, Torrence Boone spent two years as a vice president and general manager at Razorfish, a digital media agency based in New York.

Razorfish’s CEO and Chief Technology Officer recently released a book explaining how technology and the creative use of media are spurring advances in the fields of marketing and business strategy. The book, authored by Bob Lord and Ray Velez, is titled Converge: Transforming Business at the Intersection of Marketing and Technology.

Covering cutting edge technology topics such as API- and data-enabled creativity, omni-channel shopping, cloud computing, and more, Converge is designed to help business leaders develop their companies’ technology capacity and identify inexpensive and easy-to-use digital solutions to boost marketing efforts.
