Sláinte Products

Sláinte is an imported and luxury Irish food brand, sold in U.S. markets. The three Irish products featured are rashers (thinly cut bacon), clabber (fermented milk) and a box containing six chocolate stout cupcakes.
The logo is inspired by pulling multiple elements of Irish culture into one cohesive design. The emblem incorporates imagery of four leaf clovers, celtic knots, and stained glass elements to create an elegant design. The typeface is Century Gothic Regular, set at 200 kerning between letters. The font is complementary to the emblem form.
Along the packaging is a handmade decal of an Irish farmhouse house nestled into a hilly countryside. This is a holdover from the logo design process that has been repurposed to fit into the packaging and strengthen the brand. This imagery is representative of the company’s farming roots and provides a traditional scene that the viewer can associate with small-scale organic farming.
Sláinte’s Clabber is unpasteurized milk that is created naturally through being left out at a specific temperature and humidity. Though sour in taste, and thick like yogurt in consistency, it is used in a wide variety of Irish baking goods from cakes to soda breads. The label has been designed to form around the container's grip to allow for better utility and handling.
Box Dimensions: 9.5 x 6 x 4 in.

Sláinte’s Chocolate Stout Cupcakes are a deliciously rich Irish treat. Made in cooperation with Irish Guinness Beer, although the alcohol is subtle enough for the cakes to be considered non-alcoholic.
The packaging has both a slide covering and a half top lid. Inside, the packaging has been designed for the cupcakes to be placed in a tray that can be pulled out and used to serve during gatherings.
Box Dimensions: 4.2 x 2.2 x 9 in.

Slainte’s Rashers are a customary Irish breakfast meat similar to thinly cut strips of bacon. The packaging is designed to look narrow to reflect the contents of its thinly sliced meat, and has a tab to reseal after it has been open, for continual storage in a consumer’s fridge.
