Objectives
Simplify volume by proposing an effective component layout  for a minimum volume & size
Integrate mio identity
manager thermal issues & integrate Top/Bottom air intake/outlet.
Design for Sku change flexibility / adopt cost effective CMF
Taking initiatives to design components & PCB bracket
is helping communication & partnership with mechanical team.
For this study i proposed a quick idea for bracket to speed up ME team alignment with placement direction.
Basic Volume Form in Rhino to validate main functions
Mounting design & usability : the mount seats low to minimize the footprint on the windshield blocking the driver view. this mount can fit a large range of vehicle with windshields ranging front 25 deg. to 85 deg.
Printing out quick 3d models to review volume inside vehicle cockpit & form factor
Validation in vehicle 
3D prints samples are mounted in vehicle to review usability, mount setting location to enhance road visibility and power cable management.
Design Details, CMF definition, thermal outlets and Design engineering are handled by Rick during development stage. For me it's mandatory support to execute and co-work with ME team, For Rick it's the opportunity to work on brand product and bring his own thinking to some areas of the product. it's not only a 1 designer work, it's a real team effort.
