Bright Lighting

I put the lens in the window and used the light coming in to get the bright light to the back of the lens. I positioned white pieces of paper at the sides of the lens at 45 degree angles to reflect the light to the front of the lens.

Even Lighting

To achieve an evenly lit shot of the lens I put it beside the window. The window was on its right side, and white paper was to its left as well as to the back of it to reflect the light coming through the window to the left side and back of the lens.

Moody lighting

For this photo I put the lens in the window. The window was to the left. I put my black tablet behind the lens to stop the light reflecting back. This allowed for moody lighting across the image.
