Grandeece is a Greek olive oil producer that has just entered the market. Imagine it: the breeze of the Mediterranean Sea, an organic farm, light shade from the olive trees. That's exactly what Grandeece is. They don't use synthetic fertilizers, take care of the soil and make a really quality product. Our challenge was to create a branding that tells this story.
The design of the packaging of premium olive oil often uses dark colors. Olives, sprigs of a tree or a combination of these are depicted on the label to emphasize the naturalness of the product. We suggested moving away from this typical solution. And armed themselves with the works of Iranian artist Bahman as a reference: his style combines illuminated miniatures, artifacts of the Etruscan and Byzantine eras, gold textures. We invited Inna Kharchuk, an artist from Rivne, because her aesthetic perfectly matched our vision.
As a result Gr8.buro created a new brand for the European market. Inna Harchuk illustrated the brand legend for packaging.
