Description:
The project of a two-storey country house made of solid timber was developed for customers of a well-known Finnish construction company.
The space of the 1st floor is functionally divided into three parts: the left wing - children's bedrooms, the central - living area and the left wing - kitchen and dining rooms.
The zoning of the living room is built around the fireplace area and the stairs leading to the second floor, plus visually we have designated these areas with different types of engineering flooring boards.
The soft sofa group from Black Tie allows you to sit next to the stone fireplace with the whole family and / or a large group of friends.
At the stairs, we organized a small private place behind a screen where you can retire with a cup of coffee and a book or watch the children on the playground through the window.
The owners of the house are gourmets and professional cooks, so the kitchen space was organized as comfortable as possible for the whole process from cooking to a meal. The center of the space is an island with convenient places for storing fresh vegetables and cutting boards. There is a large side-by-side refrigerator, an open dish dryer, a traditional-style sink and a separate storage room.
The main colors that set the mood for the kitchen room are olive, white and wine, with a barely noticeable patina of walnut wood. We decided to highlight the walls with glossy ethnic tiles from Ann Sucks, which would repeat every color of the furniture palette. The kitchen furniture is made in a traditional style from the factory of one of the authentic English factories CHALON.
