First of all, glutinous rice cake with grean been pastel and coconut. This is local food in my countryside, where i was born and grow up.Until now im still particularly fond of this dishes

 

 

   Next, pia cake which has great taste in Soc Trang ( province in Vietnam).

 

 

    The name of popular food is banh cam - deep-fried glutinous rice sesame balls filled with sweetened mung bean paste from southern Vietnam.Especially, childs and adults have a thing for this food, are considered nosh at the afternoon

 

 

    A crispy food childhoods.It is thin, round, shaped like a pig's ear, and has a round swirling stripes between milk white and light brown, and with sesame seeds.

 

   

    Finally, here are vietnamese steamed layer cake, as a child my mom often made it for me, it really so good.
