Identity and Postcard design for a fine art exhibition that I helped organize and participated in. The show was themed around the idea of memory and growth, and these two ideas found their way into the graphic imagery. The name of the show came from the belief that memory is an inward process and growth is an upward process, and is also a play on the saying "onward and upward". The identity is simple, using the directional arrows in relation to the words. The green color symbolizes growth.
The postcard incorporates the logo along with a textural pattern in the background which can either be interpreted as tree roots, or as nerve endings- either relating to growth or the physical act of memory.
