The task was to create a sustainable vision on how the area north of Järntorget, Gothenburg, could be exploited in the future as a entrance for the city when arriving from the sea in the west. The area is today a very busy junction and parking area.
My vision takes varying water levels in consideration and is a response to my conviction that the area is in favour of being densely exploited as one of Gothenburg most urban areas. A mixture of commercial and private housing would keep the area very active and let it continue to be a centre of pedestrian traffic and part of most citizens' everyday path.
The concept can be summerized as:
