Felix Baumgartner Space Jump
For my illustration class we were assigned to illustrate a world record. I pick Felix Baumgartner and his space jump in which he broke multiple world records, including highest free fall. I wanted to capture the moment of him falling with the focus being on him rather than the Earth. I didn't use any black when coloring because the colors that are created from the direct light of the sun, the reflected light from the Earth, the beauty of what Felix was seeing before he jumped. The quote is from a previous interview with Felix Baumgartner, but I thought it was fitting for what he was accomplishing.
