Esta ilustración está inspirada en la fiesta tradicional de los Andes Yahuarfiesta, o fiesta de la sangre. A nivel simbólico retrata la lucha entre el pueblo indígena andino, representado por el condor, y el pueblo europeo o español, representado por el toro. En esta reinterpretación del tema, el toro aparece también como representante del desarrollo industrial, de la explotación petrolera e incluso como representante del mercado, encarnando al toro de Wall Streat.

This illustration is inspired by the traditional festival of the Andes Yahuarfiesta, or blood festival. On a symbolic level, it portrays the struggle between the Andean indigenous people, represented by the condor, and the European or Spanish people, represented by the bull. In this reinterpretation of the theme, the bull also appears as a representative of industrial development, oil exploitation and even as a representative of the market, embodying the Wall Streat bull.This illustration is part of the Sur o no ser project, and was made between 2016 and 2018.
