Unicity -
Embrace your  uniqueness

The film is about how each and everyone of us is different and unique.
All of us are put in boxes by our family, by our religion, by our society, our moment in history, even our bodies. For a few of us growing older is like being blindfolded and walking straight through one immaterial mirror and into another, but it's never enough. It's not about one person it's about thousands of people and it's about all of us accepting one another for who we are.  The protagonist of the video is a queer caterpillar who faces mockery from other caterpillars. Being queer is like being gay, tall, short, white, black, male or female, is just another part of the human condition that makes each individual unique and something over which we have no control.

The Basic message of this video is to make people understand that at the end of the day it's about being comfortable in your own skin and also to stop people from mocking, judging and harassing people from the queer community. We ought to learn to include everyone no matter their gender, sexual orientation, race or religion.

A film by Sanjay Paramanik, Aaron Chen Lepcha and Ullas Srivastava.
Guided by Prosenjit Ganguly and Vishnupriya Narayanan.
