Objective: Create a set of icons for travelers within a specific place and time.
I chose Ancient Ireland- Descriptive Words

Initially I was going to draw my final mockup with traditional materials, but I knew it wouldn’t look as clean so I started combining assets… and I couldn’t stop! I created every pictograph using simple shapes under the icons tab in Adobe Spark. As for the design, I ended up going for a combination of my second and third sets of sketches; a bold, Celtic-esque style.
Of course I made the card two shades of green because Ireland, and harkening back to an ancient peoples’ reverence for nature.
