Good Hood Logo Project
I was asked to make a logo for a Lithuanian rollerblading team "Good Hood".
They wanted an afro incorporated.
With the combination of afro and rollerblading, my mind immediately went to the 70/80's.

They had already made a logo I could use for inspiration:
I decided to incorporate the curly typeface, but to combine with the afro element (there's an expression I never thought I would say).
First off I made this:
They loved it, but would like some extra detail to give it an edge.
Just for kicks I added a super-80's version:
In the end I went with adding a pattern to the whole thing and making a coloured and desaturated version.
