Tube doors are a popular option with Wrangler owners as a middle ground between full doors and no doors. The main objectives for the Fortis Tube Doors were to compliment the body lines of the Wrangler, open and close seamlessly, and not rattle while driving down the road. Those seem like simple tasks, but I promise they are more difficult than you'd think.

My role in the project was the engineering and CAD work based off initial profile sketches, creating the latching mechanism, and working with the manufacturer to make the outer tube profile seamless. When these tube doors dropped on the first sellers website, they sold out our entire initial batch of thousands before the shipment ever touched our loading dock.
