The Apex Mountain Biking Academy is an organisation focussing on the development of up and coming mountain bike riders. Selected riders participate in a range of training camps, each focusing on a different area of the sport. For example, core fitness, riding technique and ways of tackling different terrain.

In terms of the logo design, the triangular formation represents an apex, hence the name of the organisation. This apex can be thought of as the mountain members ride their bicycles on. The apex also represents the idea of moving upwards, which is an important part of an academy overall. The logo is formed by using shapes that relate to the metal tubing associated with bicycles.
