This report, conducted as a university project, aims to guide a project proposal. It considers relevant aspects that may present ergonomic risk factors for operators in the molding wheel and part of the refining furnace, corresponding to stages of the production process in a Chilean copper foundry. The report takes a conceptual and exploratory approach, intending to discover and initially define elements susceptible to design improvements. The ultimate goal is to proceed with the relevant technical development after obtaining approval.
