Motivation Letter & Portfolio

The part I enjoy most about film production is pre-production. Here the story comes to life, everything is still possible, and all creativity can flow.
Also, with a good planning and preparation the whole project can be given the right move to start.

That is why after some first internships and experiences in German TV and cinema I decided to study advertising at Pforzheim University. With a great combination of creation, production, and business I got well prepared for a professional world, and I learned what steps I want to peruse. Especially at Werbeliebe e.V., a students’ advertising agency I got a lot of hand-on experience with shoots, creation, and organization of all range from small, self-created projects up to producing and directing commercials and videos of a bigger budget.

During my internship at Leo Burnett in Frankfurt I got insight into the creative world of advertising as a copy writer. I learned to get the right feeling for storytelling and “big-thinking” in creation. Developing communication and content for brands like Samsung, McDonald’s, FIAT and Jeep I got used to work without limits for imagination. To get some "hands on experience", and could also help developing content for the Samsung Gear VR system. 

After finishing my bachelor’s degree, I got hired from Markenfilm in Hamburg, where I produced and assisted in production for brands like Telekom, VARTA, BMW, Veltins, Puma and Volkswagen.
As I got the chance to develop audio-visual content for a musician, I founded my own production company with the name INTERNAUTEN to produce music videos and advertising. With that amount of responsibility, I decided to deepen my knowledge and experience in film itself at ESCAC in Barcelona with a master`s degree in film directing.
In preparation of many shoots and storyboarding classes I finally fell in love with the pre-production process.
During the pandemic I had the chance to use and improve my management and team leading skills working for LEGO. But now it is time for me to get hands on exciting new projects and evolve further in the cinema industry.

With a friend It have a Podcast. It's name is INTERNAUTEN.

What I love about podcasting is the same thing I love about making movies: prepare with high intensity a topic and a story with all its facets to present it to an audience in the most understandable, yet captivating way.
(unfortunately it is in German. But here is we tried it in Spanish.)
