This is the poster I made for my first year final project at Graphic Design.
 
For the background, I wanted to use a paper texture right from the beginning, to give it a certain dynamic that only a texture can give. I found out some free good resolution textures on the Internet, and I tried different combinations in Photoshop. Finally I got to a result that I liked with a cardboard combined to a paper textured, and a cyan color. Playing a little with the blending mode I finally got to a perfect result.
 
I had the idea of making a funny guy that holds in one hand a certificate and in the other one some opened handcuffs. He is also supposed to look happy. After hours of hard work, this is the result I got.
 
As much as the text is concerned, I tried to keep the poster as simple as possible, and leave most of the text for the back side of the flyer. All the text written on my materials was given by the client.
