“A High Trip”, is a student project that aims to educate people about marijuana, and break the typical impression and misperception to marijuana. The target audience are people who are not familiar, or curious and aware of marijuana, which are more towards teenagers to young adults. The “Trip” does not encourage the habit of weed, instead it will bring the reader through a journey from being a normal person to a beginner at weed then a stoner and an addict. It contains four chapters, “Virgin”, “Noob”, “Heaven” and “Hell”. The reader is able to look through the "scenery" from the start to hell, at the same time gain knowledge from different perspectives.
Everything start with a sentence, “How do you know unless you try?”, a sentence that brings marijuana into a “Virgin” life, where the reader explores the culture and history, while the chapter explains the general facts and benefits of this complex flower. Then, reaching a “Noob” where the reader hears about some tips and tricks, first time stories and experiences from someone, what strain to choose, what method to on the first try. Next, once one knows what to do the drive into “Heaven” begins, what does “Heaven” feels like and what is happening in “Heaven”. Lastly, the feeling of getting lost in "Hell" where one slowly falls into the addiction, as they look through the trip to hell and back.
