A popular park in Darien holds the plaque or symbol for the town, which was incorporated in 1820. The sailboat and the old colonial house incorporate both the landside and coastline of the town. 

What is fall without pumpkins and mums! During the fall season in Darien families love to carve pumpkins and light them outside their home. I like the red wagon in this image because it's centered and creates contrast to the picture. The wagon is very helpful to those customers who need help carrying the pumpkins!

Darien is also known for it's beautiful trees in Darien during the fall months. The brightly colored leaves shine among the morning light. Of course this man and his puppy are the center of the image and make the picture a little more charming. 

A man multi-tasks in the late morning as he answers the phone and waters the lawn. This house sits on a particularly beautiful street of homes, so he has some compeitiion with his landscape!

During lunch time, a women quickly walks to the bank in a popular shopping center in Darien. A blue sky and colorful leaves are exemplified clearly in the frame of the photo. 

Two ladies share conversation on a walk during a beautiful Monday afternoon. The weather was perfect for late in the fall season. Clearly the nature thrived as the surrounding grass and trees are still extremely fruitful in October. 

A man sporting a suiting fall color ran quickly past me as I took our dog for a walk down the street. The shadows of the afternoon from the man running and the surrounding trees are my favorite part of the image.

Keeping with the outdoor theme, this man rode his bike up a small but long hill in the afternoon sun. The sun hits the house in the background just right so that the white paint beams off onto the street. Even the electrical lines are shadowed on the left of the road lines. 

This house is one of my favorite on the street. The gate used to be the driveway, but after renovations it's simply green grass and a welcoming view to the house.  

We live on a small pond in Darien and my dad loves to take the kayak out for a ride every once in a while. The view from the water is beautiful with the red and green trees in the background with reflections on the calm water. Our little dog caught the corner of this picture when we took her out for her first ride!

This is one of my favorite photos from the story because I carved this pumpkin! Taking an outline from the coloring book and slowly tracing it onto the pumpkin, I carved the witches hat and then lite it outside. It looked great in the moonlight!

A view from the pond from the opposite side of the water. I love the way you can see the clouds relfecting on the water with only a few ripples rolling down the side.
