Grand Egyptian Museum inauguration ceremony event. Cairo, Egypt.
The Grand Egyptian Museum will be the largest archaeological museum in the world.
It will house artifacts of ancient Egypt, including the complete Tutankhamun collection; many pieces displayed for the first time. The museum is sited on a plot of land of about 480,000 square metres (5,200,000 sq.ft.) approximately 2 kilometres (1.2 miles) from the Giza pyramid complex. An exceptional site for an inauguration event similar to the Olympics opening ceremony with heads of states and other VVIP's from around the world which date is still to be determined.
