IL BAGNO ROSA (THE PINK BATHROOM)

I was thinking of the Pink Flamingos at Villa Invernizzi in Milano while having a warm bath in the tub with a glass of Bottega Rose Gold Spumante and ‘La Vie en Rose’ in the background when I designed this.
I was battling with anxiety and al I wanted to do was to go back to euphoric alone moments during my time in Europe. Pink soothes me and red stimulates my creativity and passion for design. This project combines some of my hedonistic feelings in a multi-sensorial bathroom.
It took a lot of texture combinations and color correction to get the right amount of blush and peach that would generously compliment the eclectic style we were going for.
When you scrutinize the elements, see how geometry and color monotony cohesively blend the battling elements to create a unified look. Just love how an eclectic approach can be dramatic without over amplifying some features.
