Light Painting & Steel Wool

I wanted to try out another long exposure photoshoot very similar to the one that I did before, again I used the steel wool and sparklers but this time I also used tissue paper over a torch to create a different coloured light. Just like before I set my camera to a 30 second exposure and set alight the item I was using and then took the picutre. I tried out different ways of swinging the steel wool to see what different shapes and light trails i could get, I tried it noramlly just swinging it in a cirle, once over/around my head and once in a figure of 8 shape/making an X on the floor. Each of these gave completely differnet images and I really liked the images and shoot as a whole.

I also tried light painting with the torch, I attempted to create differnet shapes but found that I could only really draw a tree. It will take a few more practices as it is hard to make sure that each line is related and near to the one you have drawn and because you cant see the image it is hard to make sure that what you are drawing actually looks like you want it to.
Steel wool in a wisk set alight and then swung by a lead rope.
Torch with purple tissue paper taped over the top.
Sparkler set alight and then spun around.
