And the Lord God created man out of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his face the breath of life, and man became a living soul. And the Lord God took man and set him in the garden of Eden to cultivate it... and preserve it. And the Lord God commanded man, saying. Many have come before me into this wonderful world, and have hardly known it. Their time has expired, their lives have faded away."

The fruit of the pomegranate is life incarnate.

The pomegranate fruit is life itself.

The pomegranate fruit symbolizes the intertwining of ties, souls and bodies, ours and our neighbors.

The pomegranate fruit is a reflection of the family as a whole.

It is as if the pomegranate fruit contains it all, just as our genetic code holds the history of our lineage.

Just as the tough skin of the pomegranate hides a soft gut, the vulnerable flesh within each of us, we feel and pass our lives through the interwoven nerve endings. Without even realizing it. The memory of the body, the memory of the cell - will leave in itself like the grains of a pomegranate.

The whole spectrum of the senses passes through the gut and the grains of the fetus helping it to form. Such maturation occurs through transformations both bodily and mental.

My photographic paintings illustrate the journey of these transformations to the point of merging into the oneness in which we know ourselves.

Плод граната - воплощение жизни. 

Плод граната - сама жизнь.

Плод граната символизирует переплетенией связей, душ и тел, наших и наших ближних.

Плод граната - отражение рода в совокупности.

Всё это словно вмещает в себя плод граната, подобно тому как наш генетический код хранит историю нашего рода.

Подобно тому как за крепкой кожицей граната скрывается мягкое нутро, внутри каждого из нас уязвимая плоть, мы чувствуем и пропускаем нашу жизнь сквозь переплетение нервных окончаний. Пусть даже этого не осознавая. Память тела, память клетки - оставит в себе, как зерна граната.

Весь спектр чувств проходит через нутро и зерно плода помогая ему сформироваться. Подобное созревание происходит через трансформации как телесные, так и душевны.
Мои фотокартины иллюстрируют путь этих трансформация до момента слияния в единство в котором мы познаем себя.
